About the event

Join me for a two-hour yoga workshop to celebrate Imbolc: a traditional Celtic festival to marks the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, which welcomes back the light as the days become longer warmth gradually returns.

Imbolc comes from the old Irish word "Imbolg," meaning "in the belly," and this festival symbolises new life nestled within the womb of the Earth. Traditionally associated with the goddess Brigid, goddess of fire, poetry, creativity, and healing, this is a time to clear away the stagnant energy of our resting winters to make way for the creative energy that beckons in the months ahead.

-       We’ll move through a fiery asana practice to build wake up the body and build heat, working with samana vayu to consolidate our energy back towards our centre.
